Menu

We got a new a new pan this week - a 14” cast iron skillet - perfect for making curry for a crowd!

It was also Valentine’s Day week 💞 So we prepared all the crafts necessary for everyone to make and send Valentine’s Day cards (including stamps!) 💌

Thai Curry

Mark has been working on his recipe for recipe for years - influenced by many YouTube chefs, traditional Thai cooking techniques, and his own trial and error we have finally landed on a reliable winner. It is broth-y, in a good way. There are several layers of flavor and heat. The vegetables are all cooked perfectly - fresh yet tender. Tonight we used panang curry paste but we have green in the fridge which I am excited to try with with other veggies!

Rice Crackers

Because we were serving Thai curry, I wanted the snack to match - so we served 4 different flavors of Dang rice chips (founded by two Thai brothers). They were so good and I’ve already ordered more!

Chocolate Mousse

It was the day after Valentine’s Day but I kept the desserts very chocolate themed - starting with this chocolate mousse. It was very chocolaty and light and exactly what you expect when you hear “mousse”.

Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

I was super excited to use jammy bits in a non-scone way! I made this King Arthur recipe and if you like berry + chocolate these are for you! I cannot stop eating them. The jammy bits are perfect, the jam layer gives rainbow cookie energy, and well ganache is always a good idea. The powdered sugar means they look good too!
