Aaannd we're back! After a brief hiatus last week for Al's college graduation 🎓 We're back this week with a healthy meal option! Almost everyone is on some sort of diet (see how sad this makes the dogs 😭) so kept the carbs light and did not even make a second dessert 😳
Döner Kebab
Okay these were WILD to make. You make a ground lamb + onion + spice mix. Spread it out in-between two pieces of parchment paper, then roll it up and bake it that way! If that didn't make any sense, here are some photos to try and capture the process invovled 📸 You end up with really thin pieces of lamb that are supposed to mimic what you'd get if you had a real vertical spit.




Roasted Potatoes
I made a side of roasted potatoes. The key to extra delicious Yukon golds is boiling them first, because the act of moving them from the boiling water to the roasting pan beats them up a little bit and those rough and scraggly edges end up being the yummiest bits!
Greek Yogurt & Honey Apple Parfaits
Greek yogurt is both a dessert and a good vehicle for protein. So I cut the apples really small and assembled the whole thing in fancy glasses to make it feel like a dessert worthy of Sunday dinner. I used Strauss Greek Yogurt and Marshall Farm's honey - when going simple, high quality ingredients make ALL the difference ✨
