We kept things small for dinner this week - after a big blow out on Saturday, it was just Mark, my sister, her girlfriend, Emily and me for Sunday dinner. So we kept the menu equally cozy.

Spaghetti and Meatsauce

While we were busy making our favorite Italian dishes, we had to make this spaghetti and Meatsauce. You cook the dried spaghetti in the sauce in the oven which yields the most perfect texture.

Chopped Salad

This is my all time favorite salad - it’s Smitten Kitchen’s version of Nancy Silverton’s chopped salad, without the provolone. The salted tomatoes really make this and it’s a technique I want to use in all my cherry tomoato salads.
