Menu

The theme this week was all things English 🇬🇧 We made a Shepard’s pie, popovers (America’s Yorkshire pudding), and sticky toffee pudding for dessert 😋

Also starting testing out some fun merch this week 👕✨

British Snacks: Salt & vinegar crisps, olives & cheddar

Fun bowls and even more delicious salty treat.

Popovers

These are like Dutch babies but in tall puffy muffin form? So delicious and so easy - only 3 ingredients! You can watch me make them over here

Shepard’s Pie

We made Brian Lagerstrom’s version - the mashed potatoes are so good on their own and an even dice of all the veggies really goes a long way.

Fennel, Apple, Celery Salad

Thinly slice all the green things on a mandoline. Do not let Jake use the mandoline, he will hurt himself. Then, top toasted walnuts and a simple oil and lemon juice “dressing” for a very easy, very fall salad.

Pumpkin Sticky Toffee Pudding

Does it get more British than sticky toffee pudding? This Melissa Clark version uses pumpkin to make it even more fall forward.

Scones

This is my go to scone recipe - I love using King Arthur jammy bits, but the apple cinnamon bits are by far the best ones. These are the perfect fall (and British!) treat. You can bake along with me here 👇🏻
